enough with the nostalgia
April 29, 2008 by anne
I need to stop this “last year at this time we were blah blah blah”. But come on. My little guy just turned one and I’m feeling nostalgic. That’s just how I am on anniversaries. For proof, look here.
Anyway, when Ryan was a newborn I didn’t post a lot of pictures of him on fatj, or blog much for that matter, because I was still using FatJ’s very own self-created blog, which required me to use HTML code. And I don’t know HTML code. Not to mention the fact that I was sleep deprived and couldn’t see straight, thus had no desire to create blog posts. Anyways, to make up for the lack of newborn shots of Ryan from a year ago, here are a few now.
Here he is, 4.28.07, just as we were about to leave the hospital.
And here he is, moments after we arrived home. (We had stopped at the DQ on the way home from the hospital. That RULED.)
And this would be one year ago this very morning. Waking up in mom and dad’s room, and doing some tummy time.
From the back…I can’t believe how tiny he was!!
Here he is again on 4.29.07. He was a very awake and alert little baby, right from the get-go.
That should be it now for the nostalgia. Until Mother’s Day, that is…

Enjoy every moment. It all goes by so fast. Being a grandma is even better!
he was such a peanut!!
So itty bitty and cute as a button…be nostalgic all you want because you can’t bottle that sweetness.
