wanna make a 1 year old angry?

Put a band aid on his finger.
Learned this one today at the ‘ol 12 month check-up. It seems the little dudes don’t know what to make of a flesh-colored sticky thing attached to their poor little finger that was just pricked.
From the moment Ryan’s band-aid was placed on his finger, he was dead-set on getting it OFF. We got about 2 minutes from home and from the backseat I hear what sounds like him slurping and chewing something up in his mouth. THE BAND-AID! I had to perform a gymnastic feat of removing the band-aid from his mouth while driving.
That’s all.
***Is anyone getting tired of my mom-blog posts? I need to find something else to blog about…

cute band-aid story. we need to get in for a checkup, i guess. we haven’t been since.. um.. 6 months? ha ha! i guess she’s still alive.
yeah, at tucker’s last check up he got a bugs bunny band-aid on his finger and he was pretty ticked about it (for two minutes until he FORGOT about it). weird kid.
hope the check up went well.
Of course I am never sick of baby blogs!
I usually learn “what’s next” for us since Sophia’s 3 weeks younger… so THANKS for the wisdom (and warnings).
Kids are weird so I like hearing about them. It makes me wish my world was such that something like a bandaid was my biggest trouble.
I have meaning to comment and say Happy Birthday to the little dude…it seems like last month that Tom came in to work all proud and nervous and said that his sister had her baby.
Time flies…
Of course, I love all the baby stories. I’m sure your brother still doesn’t wear a band-aid to this day. Hopefully, Ryan isn’t picking up all his quirks!
