You know that song ‘Daniel’ by Elton John? It’s a sad song. But for completely non-sad reasons, I’ve had a line from that song running through my head for the past week. It’s the line that goes I can see the red tail lights, heading for Spain…

Except for me, I won’t be seeing any red tail lights, because in 38 days I’ll actually be ON the plane. The one that’s heading for Spain. THE ONE THAT’S HEADING FOR SPAIN!

Middle-aged impulsivity, one awesome Spain-loving girlfriend, one triathlete, and one completely awesome husband were all it took for this to happen.

And I can’t remember the last time I was this excited.
