I was going to retroactively put up some summer post-a-day pictures, but I went back and looked for some dailies starting on June 21, and it turns out I really haven’t been taking many pictures. We’ve been having a nice summer…the boys and I have been on lots of fun adventures like the falls, bike rides, parks, Nokomis beach, chutes and ladders park, Richfield pool, etc. Sam’s no longer napping, which is good and bad. Good because it means we can be gone all afternoon if we want to; bad because he hits a slump in the late afternoon and usually ends up with a couple meltdowns in the evening. Just a few snippets of our summer so far…
s’mores with the G-I-A-N-T marshmallows, neighbor’s backyard (oh yeah, and Ryan decided to dress up like a pirate for that evening’s BBQ)
watching cousin Max’s baseball game. I was so amazed that Ryan had patience to watch the whole thing. And stay afterward to do some hitting.
Day trip to Alden Lake. Pre-lunch pontoon ride.
Riding home from the cabin in the back of Grandpa’s truck.
Target, with two in tow.
Ryan and Sam did a kids’ bike race downtown St. Paul. They loved it.
Biking with friends Luke and Jack.
ice cream at Grand Ol’ Creamery
walking to farmer’s market on Father’s Day
