This footage was shot last Wednesday. I intended to post it then under the wordless Wednesday theme, but didn’t get around to it. I like to call this one ‘Breakfast with the Screamers.’ Alternate title: ‘Just another day for you and me in paradise…minus the paradise.’ <<<<—– One of my and Pat’s most popular sayings around our house:)

Other things…

Pat and I had an awesome dinner out last Saturday night at Pizzeria Lola with Jen and Brette. The pizzas were extraordinary. I salivate now just thinking about them. We ordered four different pizzas for the four of us (along with a brussel sprout appetizer) and ate every last crumb. After dinner we hit up the movie theater for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. We hardly ever make it out to the movies so this was a treat. I really enjoyed the movie, even though it was pretty intense with violence and other sketchiness.

Sunday night we had a Super Bowl party at home, just the four of us. All day long Ryan was really hyped up about the Super BALL party we were having. The boys got to eat dinner in the living room in front of the TV on their little Ikea table, and this was THE most exciting thing of the decade to them. We had some grilled chicken wings, sliders, pheasant nuggets, guacamole, veggies/hummus, grapes and chocolate balls. It was quite the spread! Sam was up and down and all around about 5000 times, and I was pleased that my bee bops were more interested in the commercials than the game. (Especially Ry Guy, who still gets all the sports’ names mixed up. Love him!)

Sam is 22 months old now. I need to get to his monthly update one of these days. I’ve also begun looking ahead to the month of April with its crazy amount of celebrations. Sam’s birthday is two days before Easter, and Ry’s is at the end of the month. This will be the first year we’re doing a kid party for Ry, so this dude may have two parties when it’s all said and done. I’ve made plans for the kid party, but none of the other celebrating has been decided upon. Now we have our neice Brynn with a birthday in April too! (p.s. I’m already stressing about Ry’s kid party 2.5 months out. Gah. I’m just not a party planner.)

I lost my favorite winter hat. It was either lost at the Y for swimming lessons (I looked thru the lost and found box but was ruded out and had to stop), or in the parking ramp of the hotel where the Mpls Public Schools school choice fair was held.

And that brings us to Things That Keep Me Up at Night- the School Choice Version. We’ll save that for another day…
